Best Field Trip Ever

Adventure for All Ages

We have heard many times that our Park provides the unique opportunity of merging fun, learning, and bonding in one epic field trip. We regard safety as a top priority for our climbers, enabling them to feel comfortable while still challenging themselves!

An effective way to feed your classroom’s motivation is to get the students outside and into an environment that encourages them to use their knowledge and physical capabilities.

The Adventure Park is more than just a fun activity: From building self-confidence and leadership skills among your students, to introducing a hands-on approach in your lesson plan-it can support your classroom dynamic in an engaging way.

Be Prepared

Reserving Your Climb

  • Groups of 10 or more are eligible for discounted rates.
  • Group reservations require advanced reservations. Please call us at least 2 weeks in advance to schedule your climb.
  • $150 non-refundable deposit due at time of booking
  • Remaining balance will be due two weeks prior to your reservation date
  • The sooner you reserve, the more likely you’ll get your desired date and time!
  • To book, we need a ballpark number of climbers. You’ll be able to update your head count before making the final payment.
Support for Individuals with Special Needs

In most cases, support for any student with special needs can be accommodated. Although the Park is generally a self-guided facility, we may be able to offer more focused support.

Please mention it when we begin planning your field trip, and we’ll offer you more details!

Lunch Options

Everyone is welcome to bring their own food, snacks, and drinks! You’ll have picnic tables reserved in our pavilion area.

We have water stations throughout the Park. Our food truck may be open when you visit depending on day of the week. Find the hours and menu here! If the truck will be closed during your visit, there are also delivery options in the neighboring town of Olney.

Timing

Tickets are good for a 3 hour + 40 minute experience. Depending on group size, please allow up to 5 total hours when planning your visit for check-in, safety orientation, and harnessing.

For larger groups of 100+, ask us about timing when you start planning your trip! You may want to allot extra time to enjoy the full experience.

Please plan on arriving 15 minutes early.

Waivers

All climbers must have a waiver on file. Waivers must be filled out online. No paper waivers will be accepted.

Once you set up your reservation, we’ll send you a confirmation email where you can find the waiver. You’ll be able to share the waiver link through email or text!

Youth under the age of 18 must have a parent/guardian complete their waiver.

Activities for Non-Climbers

Not sure everyone will want to climb? Bring some extra lawn games, like a football, frisbee, etc.! We also have axe throwing open to ages 12+.

Want to add a historic element? Check out our neighbors at Woodlawn Manor Cultural Park for historic tours and trips! Hike the Underground Railroad experience trail, tour the historic manor, or visit the museum.

Chaperones

While we don’t have specific chaperone requirements, we recommend 1 chaperone for every 10 climbers.

Chaperones are not required* to climb, but are welcome take part in the experience if they’d like!

*Please note: 5 & 6 year olds must climb with an adult at a 1:1 ratio in the Aerial Forest.

"I took my second grader class here as an end of the year field trip. I told them it was going to be challenging and that it was our big step of faith; preparing for third grade. The students had never experienced anything like this before and anxiously but immediately took to the challenge. Overcoming their fears and turning it into fun!! Everyone loved it. The staff is friendly, knowledgeable and fearless. From a teacher standpoint this is an activity that challenges your physical body, your 'nerve', your ability to remember and follow directions, hand eye coordination, team work (only the three people on the platform can assist each other) and engages your total self. I absolutely loved the entire experience and I believe the students have something special that will stay with them forever."

"I have been here twice now. Once I came as a teacher with 50 middle schoolers. I loved seeing them work together and challenge themselves. We encouraged the students to only do what they were comfortable with, to encourage each other and know that the only competition happening was in their own heads. I bought a 10 pass for myself after the school trip because I loved it so so much!"

"I went here with students for a field trip. Staff was great! Even though we were a group of 23, one of thestaff made efforts to learn some of the students names!! This demonstrated their dedication to their job and building familiarity with students is a good way to ensure safety. Good work."

"Not Your Average Adventure Park. Excellent park! The staff members were helpful and knowledgeable. The quick 10 min briefing of the harness and gear was immensely helpful especially when coupled with the quick practice session before releasing participants. Many of my student faced their fears as they had never done something like this before. Even those who did not climb were able to cheer their peers on. We will definitely return for future class trips!"
