BEFORE YOU COME
BE PREPARED
Check Availability
Check for Availability by clicking on the Reserve Tickets button at the top of the page. Reservations are required.
Gloves
Gloves are highly recommended! Add pair(s) during the reservation process to save over the Park store price. We’ll help you figure out sizing when you arrive. You’re also welcome to bring your own – leather palmed gardening gloves or any sport glove, like biking, will do the trick. Please note: Our gloves are not designed for warmth. If you’re coming on a chillier day, bring a pair of liner gloves!
Waiver
Every climber must have a waiver on file. An adult/guardian must sign a waiver for climbers under the age of 18. All waivers can be filled out online prior to your visit. You can find the waiver link in your reservation confirmation email.
Please note: We do not have a general waiver link. Please refer to your confirmation email or contact your group leader to get access to the waiver.
Arrive Early
Plan on arriving early for your reservation! If you are late, we cannot guarantee that we will be able to accommodate your group at time of arrival.
Clothing
We require close-toed shoes. Please keep long hair tied back. Dress for the weather! The Park is open rain or shine, hot or cold. We recommend dressing in layers on chillier days.
WHEN YOU GET HERE
WHAT TO EXPECT
RESERVE
Step one is to reserve your climb!
COMPLETE WAIVER
Next, make sure you have a comleted waiver. The link to your online waiver will be in your reservation confirmation email. There are also electronic waivers available at the Park. If you are bringing a group with climbers under the age of 18, please have their parents sign the waiver online in advance.
CHECK-IN
Once all of your waivers are completed, head over to a Park Host to check in. The check-in building is labeled "Step One" at the Park. You'll get your ticket as well as any gloves purchased with your reservation at this step.
TICKETS
A Park Host will print your tickets. A time will be stamped on your ticket. That time is the last time you will be able to begin a new trail (similar to a ski-lift pass). Our most common ticket is good for a 3 hour climbing session plus an additional 40 minutes for the orientation period. If your reservation is at 9 AM, the time-stamp will read 12:40 PM.
SAFETY BRIEFING
Once you've received your ticket, you're off to the Safety Briefing, where a trained staff member will lead you through a demonstration of the climbing equipment and our policies & procedures. The safety briefing takes about 10 minutes.
HARNESS UP
After the briefing, you'll get a climbing harness and clips. You'll be provided with all of the necessary climbing equipment. A staff member will instruct you on how to put the gear on and make sure it is properly fitted.
PRACTICE
Next, you'll head to the practice lines, which is a brief "practice stage," where you will have the chance to practice with the clips until you feel comfortable.
YOU'RE OFF!
Now, you're ready! You'll head up to the starting platform to begin your adventure.
*Everyone MUST go through the safety briefing and practice area, even if you’ve been here before. If you’re a frequent climber, ask a staff member about our Safety Briefing Bypass Program!*
Coming more than once a year?
Safety Briefing Bypass
For frequent climbers who come to the Park multiple times throughout one season, we offer a safety briefing bypass program!
After completing at least one briefing and climb during the season, you can take a short quiz. If you pass, you’ll be issued a bypass card that allows you to skip the safety briefing and go straight to harnessing! Bypasses are good for one season and need to be renewed at the start of a new year.
Be sure to ask about the Bypass Program during your next visit to the Park!
Safety Briefing
Want a little more insight on the Park’s safety and clipping systems? Check out our safety briefing video in advance. Just note, you’ll still be required to watch it in person unless you have a bypass.
